Boris Johnson wins race to become UK's next prime minister

The former foreign secretary and London mayor will take over from Theresa May on Wednesday. Johnson has said he will do 'whatever it takes' to get the UK out of the EU by 31 October. The US government announces it will investigate whether the big tech firms are unfairly restricting competition.
