Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

The US declares a national emergency over threats to its telecoms technology, as fears mount over foreign-supplied equipment which could pose a 'national security' threat to the country. Airline giant Boeing continues to face scrutiny over one its models crashing. Birth rates have fallen hugely in the US, due to various reasons - and social inequality is partly the reason. We discuss all this with Maya Van Rossum, Director of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network in the US, and Nisid Hajari, the Asia Editor for Bloomberg's editorial board in Bangkok.
