Big Boss InterviewAvailable for over a year
At midnight Eastern Standard Time the US is due to impose new trade tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods, right in the middle of two days of negotiations to end the dispute. Can a deal be reached? We ask Erin Ennis of The US-China Business Council. Uber has set a price for floating its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, in what is expected to be one of the biggest stock market flotations of the year. The BBC's Michelle Fleury is in new York. Do you live the Niksen lifestyle? If not, you may want to. It involves taking time to do nothing, letting your mind wander and letting go of the stresses and strains of modern life. We hear about its benefits from Manfred Kets de Vries a professor of leadership development at INSEAD in Paris - and a keen practitioner and tutor of Niksen. All this and more discussed with our two guests throughout the show: Paddy Hirsch, a writer and contributing editor on public radio in the US, who's in LA. And Mehmal Sarfraz, a co-founder of the website The Current PK and a Journalist for Geo TV, in Lahore, Pakistan. (Photo: US and Chinese flags. Credit: Getty Images.)
