US To Fully Enforce Reimposed Iran Nuclear Sanctions

World Business Report

Available for over a year

President Donald Trump says he will fully enforce the sanctions being reimposed on Iran as a result of the US withdrawal from a 2015 nuclear deal. The BBC Persian Service's business correspondent Amir Paivar gives us the latest. The boss of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi, is stepping down after 12 years. The BBC's Russell Padmore reflects on her tenure at the company. And Saudi Arabia has frozen trade ties with Canada in a row over human rights. We find out more from Thomas Juneau at the University of Ottawa's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Also in the programme, Ugandan magistrate Juliet Hatanga tells us about her experience being turned away from a hotel in Guangzhou, China, where authorities have allegedly introduced a ban preventing Africans from checking in to low- and mid-range hotels. Plus our workplace commentator Stephanie Hare looks at why some American couples where a woman earns more than her husband, keep that fact a secret. (Photo: President Trump points the finger.
