EU Signs Its Biggest Trade Deal With Japan

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The European Union has signed its biggest free trade deal to date, with Japan. Shihoko Goto is senior associate for Northeast Asia at the research group the Wilson Centre in Washington, and tells us who the winners and losers from the deal are likely to be. Also in the programme, our reporter at the Farnborough Air Show considers the prospects for electric aeroplanes. We have a report from Hong Kong on the expensive marketplace for car parking spaces there. Plus, the most expensive film ever made in China, Asura, has been pulled from cinemas after a disappointing opening weekend. Shanghai-based journalist Kenrick Davis tells us more about the film.
