Canada Tariffs Target US Steel and Aluminium

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Canada will "not back down" in the face of new US tariffs on steel and aluminium, according to foreign minister Chrystia Freeland. Canada's tariffs target US steel and aluminium products as well as whisky, yoghurt, ketchup and orange juice; we hear from whisky producer Colin Spoelman from Kings County distillery in Brooklyn. Peter Jankovskis from Oakbrook Investments in Chicago tells us how markets reacted to Canada's announcement. We recap the week's biggest news stories with Katie Martin from the Financial Times and Richard Cockett from The Economist. And as part of our Money and Power season, we host a gathering of influential entrepreneurs who have all been using technology to generate profits and influence in the 21st Century.
