Koreas Make Nuclear Pledge After Summit

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Historic talks between North and South Korea's leaders have ended with promises on peace. Jonathan Cheng is Seoul bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal watched history being made, and tells us what the economic impact of this thawing of relations could be. Also in the programme, European Union member states have voted in favour of a near complete ban on the use of insecticides containing neonicotinoids, which have been linked with the devastation of bee populations. We hear why from Anca Paduraru, who speaks for the EU on health and food safety, and Guy Smith, deputy president of the UK's National Farmers Union, who tells us why many farmers are unhappy about the move. We have a report on the growing popularity of luxury treehouses. Plus we look back at the rest of the week's big business stories, with Jenny Gross of the Wall Street Journal, and Hal Hodson, technology correspondent of The Economist.
