Voting in House of Commons continues on what would have been ‘Brexit Day’

The British government is to hold a new vote on Brexit today, the final attempt to get the withdrawal agreement through the House of Commons. The speaker ruled that the vote could take place as the motion considered just the withdrawal agreement, not the future political relationship between London and Brussels. A mass extinction of amphibians is being caused by fungal disease. Nearly 100 species of frogs, toads and salamanders have been wiped out by this fungus, and it's damaging the world's biodiversity. The US government has just extended by 12 months the temporary leave to remain of thousands of Liberians who were facing deportation by the end of this week.
