Algeria army urges removal of President

Newsday

Available for over a year

Algeria's army chief of staff has called for President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to be declared unfit to rule. Protests against Mr Bouteflika, who's 82 and has been in power for 20 years, began last month after he said he planned to stand for another term, something he's now ruled out. Rockland County, on the Hudson River north of New York City, has declared a state of emergency following a severe outbreak of measles. And do you know that the Blue Economy is? The Vice President of the Seychelles explains all.
