Pentagon authorizes transfer of funds to begin new wall construction

The Pentagon has authorised the transfer of the first funds for new border wall construction under the national emergency declared by President Trump; there's been widespread condemnation of Donald Trump's decision to recognise Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights; and British MPs have voted to try to take control of the Brexit process, in a further blow to the authority of the Prime Minister, Theresa May.
