New Zealand to ban semi-automatic weapons

New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced that assault rifles and military style semi -automatic weapons are to be banned. The move comes six days after fifty people were killed by a lone gunman at two mosques in the city of Christchurch. Kazakhstan's capital, Astana has a new name. From now on it'll be called Nursultan to honour outgoing leader Nursultan Nazarbayev, who unexpectedly resigned on Tuesday.
