Trump-Kim Summit underway in Hanoi

President Trump has begun a second day of talks with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, by saying speed was not important to him in reaching a deal. As the two leaders met journalists, Mr Kim was asked if he was willing to denuclearise. President Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, has been speaking before the House Oversight Committee. Mr Cohen, who is about to begin a three year jail term, said Mr Trump wanted him to lie about a property deal in Moscow amid his election campaign. The United States, France and Britain have submitted a proposal to the UN Security Council to place the leader of Jaish-e-Mohammad on its list of designated terrorists. The Pakistan-based group claimed responsibility for the suicide attack in Kashmir which triggered the military confrontation between the countries.
