Muhammadu Buhari re-elected president of Nigeria

The Nigerian election commission has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari has won another term in office. The vote was held on Saturday after a week-long delay because of logistical problems. President Trump is due to meet the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi. It will be their second summit. The latest group of former M23 rebels who once operated in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo are being repatriated from Uganda. It’s another step forward in establishing security on the border between Uganda and the DRC.
