President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to go out and vote in Saturday's delayed presidential and parliamentary elections. Police in Chicago say the actor Jussie Smollett staged an apparently racist and homophobic attack to promote his career. He claimed he was assaulted by two men last month. In the next few hours the High Court in Kenya is due to make a potentially historic decision on whether laws that criminalise homosexuality are unconstitutional or not.
