Nairobi Hotel Attacked by Suspected Militants

In the last few hours, more than a hundred people have been rescued from the scene of a deadly attack on a hotel in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. The Somali-based jihadist group al-Shabab says it was behind the attack. We get some market reaction to last night’s Brexit vote in UK parliament, where the government’s deal was voted down by an overwhelming majority of MPs. Former Ivory Coast President Laurent Gbagbo has been acquitted at the International Criminal Court at The Hague. He was accused of crimes against humanity and other crimes committed during violence following disputed elections in 2010.
