Felix Tshisekedi Beats Martin Fayulu in DRC Presidential Elections

Newsday

Available for over a year

Felix Tshisekedi has been declared the provisional winner of last month's presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country's electoral commission said he had taken almost 39% of the vote, well ahead of the man who had been leading the polls, Martin Fayulu. And in the UK, Parliament has been increasing its control over the tumultuous Brexit process. MPs passed an amendment that will force the Prime Minister - in the event that she loses a vote on her Brexit deal - to present them with an alternative plan three days later. And we visit a far-right finishing school in the French city of Lyon to find out what pupils are taught there.
