Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

The US Justice Department has filed a host of criminal charges against Chinese telecoms giant Huawei and its chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou. We hear from acting Attorney General Matthew Whittaker and FBI Director Christopher Wray. The US has imposed sanctions on Venezuela's state-owned oil firm PDVSA and urged the country's military to accept a peaceful transfer of power. Danny Bahar, Latin America economist at the Brookings Institution in Washington, explains what the impact of the sanctions would be. Plus, we have a report from Africa's Lake Victoria region, examining the potential for cargo delivery by drone. All this and more discussed with out two guests thoughout the show: Erin Delmore, contributing editor at Bustle, in New York and Madahvan Narayanan, freelance writer and former senior editor at Hindustan Times, in Delhi.
