Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Reporters and Democratic lawmakers have been allowed inside a detention centre that lies at the heart of a growing storm over a new US policy separating migrant children from their parents. We hear from reporter Andy Uhler from our partner programme Marketplace who's spoken to people outside one of the facilities where the separated children are being held. Also in the programme, Canadian MP's vote to legalise cannabis for recreational use. The legislation must now be passed by the upper house and receive royal assent by the governor general, to become law. Plus we have a report from the Indian city of Shimla, where an extreme water shortage is having a big impact on the local economy. Rob Young is joined by Asit Biswas, a Visiting Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore and Laura Lynch, a correspondent with CBC News in Vancouver.
