Will There be a US-China Trade War?

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

A trade war appears to be getting under way between the US and China. We hear about the potential impact of proposed Chinese tariffs on US pork products from Jim Munroe of the US National Pork Producers Council, and get wider context from Jake Parker, vice-president of China operations at the US-China Business Council and Harry Kazianis, Director of Defense Studies, at the conservative think tank, the Centre for the National Interest. Peru's political crisis seems to be over. President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski has stood down, under threat of impeachment, and now the vice-president, Martín Vizcarra has been sworn in. We get analysis from Dan Collyns, a journalist based in Lima. And joining us throughout the programme is Peter Ryan, ABC's Senior Business Correspondent in Sydney.
