Leaders Meet to Discuss North Korea

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

A meeting of senior ministers from more than 20 countries is taking place in the Canadian city of Vancouver, focussing on North Korea. The Vancouver meeting is looking at ways to try to make the north give up its nuclear ambitions, but two of the main nations involved - Russia and China are not at the meeting. The BBC's Seoul correspondent, Laura Bicker, reports. Also, we hear about a successful Cuban private business - a design outlet called Clandestina - which is not only expanding online but has also grown its production into the United States. No small feat considering the poor relations between the US and Cuba under President Donald Trump. In Havana, the BBC's Will Grant met the two women entrepreneurs behind Clandestina The BBC's Roger Hearing is joined by Mitchell Hartman of Marketplace in Portland, Oregon, and Parag Khanna, senior fellow of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, in Singapore.
