Saudi Arabia to Allow Cinemas in 2018

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Commercial cinemas have been banned in the kingdom since the 1980s, but are expected to open from March next year. Alain Bejjani of Dubai-based company Majid al-Futtaim, which owns the VOX cinema chain, tells us about the potential business opportunities. Two years after the Paris Climate Accord was signed, national leaders are meeting back in Paris to discuss the deal and how to pay for it - and what the impact of the US leaving will be. Fergus Nicoll is joined throughout the programme by Asit Baswas, visiting professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore, and activist and financial reform advocate Alexis Goldstein in Washington DC.
