World Business Report

Available for over a year

Apple confirms the suspicions of many iPhone users by revealing that they deliberately impair the performance of older models, in order to stop the battery from running out too quickly. Technology journalist Rupert Goodwins explains how this came to light. British Prime Minister, Theresa May, begins an official visit to Poland against a backdrop of souring relations with the EU. The BBC's Adam Easton in Warsaw tells us she'll be looking to reassure Polish businesses about future trade relations with post-Brexit Britain. Also in this edition, we hear that the hit US musical Hamilton is setting up for its opening night in London, how the crypto-currency craze is gripping Singapore and why hundreds of thousands of dollars are changing hands at a goat auction in Kenya.
