Seventeen people were murdered when a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Two weeks after the tragedy, the school's ice hockey team, ranked one of the lowest in the State tournament, unexpectedly beat the top seeded teams and qualified for the national schools championships.
