Macron Proposes Eurozone Reforms

World Business Report

Available for over a year

French president Emmanuel Macron is suggesting wide-ranging reforms to the Eurozone. We assess the proposals with Pieyre-Alexandre Anglade, member of the French National Assembly for the president's En Marche party, and our regular economic commentator Roger Bootle of Capital Economics. Also in the programme, as Brent crude oil touches a two-year high, oil analyst Nick Coleman tells us how much the price rise is to do with tensions over oil production in Kurdistan, following the region's independence referendum. We have a report from Chile, which is undergoing a green energy boom. Plus we talk to French journalist Judith Duportail, who has discovered just how much data the dating website Tinder collects on each of its users. (Picture: Emmanuel Macron. Picture credit: EPA.)
