Gary Baily from Shrewsbury is currently the reigning Welsh and Swiss champion. He has also been the stone skimming British champion twice and was world champion in 2023. His longest throw has been measured at an impressive 457 feet or 139 metres. Gary has been telling BBC Radio Shropshire’s Clare Ashford the secret to the perfect skimmer.
