A third of Blaby’s general waste is, in fact, food waste and Blaby District Council is doing something to change that. Councils up and down England have until 31st March to deliver brand new food waste 'caddies' and Blaby District Council is the first locally to deliver theirs - to areas such as Narborough, Sapcote, Braunstone Town and Glenfield. Councillor Nigel Grundy from Blaby Council gives BBC Leicester’s Ady Dayman the lowdown on the scheme.
