A survivor of Jeffrey Epstein

Weekend

Available for over a year

We now turn the spotlight onto those who suffered at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and who helped bring about his downfall. The disgraced sex offender never faced trial - he was found dead in his cell in August 2019, only months after he was indicted on charges on sex trafficking and conspiracy. Before that though, he was found guilty for soliciting prostitution with a minor and was imprisoned for 13 months in Florida in 2008. However he continued to traffic women and children for over a decade after that. Marina Lacerda met Epstein in New York in 2002 when she was just 14. She was a Brazilian emigrant and she told Julian Worricker what happened to her.
