The Princes in the Tower

Secret Shropshire

Available for over a year

In 1483, two young princes vanished from their apartment in the Tower of London. The eldest, Edward V, had spent most of his childhood at Ludlow Castle before being reunited with his brother Richard in the capital. Centuries later, bones found in the Tower were assumed to be theirs, but that’s never been scientifically proven. Historian and author Gemma Morris Conway is calling for modern DNA testing to finally solve one of the greatest historical mysteries. Gemma has been speaking to BBC Radio Shropshire's Clare Ashford.
