Why does Worcester have a sculpture of gulls?

Available for over a year

The enormous sculpture is made entirely from rubbish and has been spotted across the city. Sarah Dukes created the design, telling BBC Hereford & Worcester how the animals are aggressive yet resourceful. The eight-feet long design has already been to Cathedral Square and Landsdown Road Park. The Worcester Plinth moves to a new location every 28 days, as organiser Oliver Carpenter says, to display thought-provoking pieces, on the only mobile artwork in the country.
