It’s actually not too late for the flu jab

Available for over a year

Flu is worse than a cold, even a bad one, but in Leicester City 59.7 percent of over 65's have had the flu vaccine compared to the national average of just over 70 percent. It’s not too late to get jabbed though and it's easy to book yourself in. That’s according to Dr Andy Ahyow, a GP in North Blaby , Komal Parmar, a pharmacist from South Wigston, and Phil Bedwell, Advanced Clinical Practitioner at the Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre. They spoke to BBC Leicester’s Ben Jackson who asked them why are the figures for Leicester City so low. Image: Getty Images
