Army volunteers join paramedics as co-responders

An army unit near Peterborough is working alongside the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust as co-responders. The team from St George's Barracks began working with EEAST in November 2025 and answerers 999 calls from the ambulance service's depot in the city. Mousumi Bakshi went to meet them.
