Actor Tracey-Ann Oberman: 'The East End made London'

Tracey-Ann Oberman was born in Brent in 1966 and is from a Jewish background. She trained to be an actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and after that spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, before joining the National Theatre. Tracey’s storied career has seen her take to the stage, as well as big and small screens; she’s also a prolific performer in radio plays, and has credits as a narrator and writer too. She’s perhaps best known for her role as Chrissie Watts in Eastenders. Tracey-Ann Oberman reveals her favourite haunts, memories, pet hates and everything in between with Gary Kemp.
