Vandalism at Wolston pub
Available for over a year
Windows at a popular village pub in Wolston have been smashed overnight, leaving the landlord “deeply worried” about the future of the business. The Half Moon’s landlord Craig Newman, says most of the front windows were damaged just after midnight, in what he describes as a “cowardly attack”. Local tradespeople have stepped in this morning to help clear the glass and fit temporary panels, but the pub, which had been due to open at midday, now expects delays while the building is made safe for customers. He spoke to BBC CWR presenter Vic Minett.
