Homicide in London has fallen to its lowest level in more than a decade, according to new figures from the Metropolitan Police. Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley says London is getting safer but that critics “promote a narrative that suits them, regardless that the facts tell a very different story.” Reform UK's candidate for London Mayor in 2028, Laila Cunningham, says London is too dangerous for some people. The current Labour Mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan, insists being tough on crime is working.
