Unlocking Hereford's long-lost cider brandy

Matured for 30 years, its makers say the spirit represents the revival of a lost tradition, with stocks of the King Offa preserved by the Museum of Cider in Pomona Place. The museum has collaborated with Ludlow Distillery to produce this specific cider brandy, after the original spirits were first made by the King Offa Distillery in 1984, with Bertram Bulmer fighting a battle to secure the first modern licence to distil the spirit in England.
