Tram fare rise comes into force

Available for over a year

As the cost of living continues to rise, you may begin to notice rising costs on Nottingham's tram system. From today, adult single tickets will rise by 10p to £3.50 when using the 'tap on' validators, and to £3.60 when using ticket machines. 'Tap on' adult day tickets will rise by 15p to £5.65, with the same rise for ticket machine purchases, to £5.80. The student and under-22 day, single, and week tickets will rise by 20p, while the family ticket - renamed from group ticket - will rise from £10 to £12 during off-peak times and from £14 to £15 in peak hours. Tim Hesketh, the CEO of NET explained the fare changes to Summaya.
