The BBC’s director general Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness have both resigned after a leaked memo criticised the editing of a speech by President Trump used in a BBC Panorama programme. The memo, written by ex-adviser Michael Prescott, claimed the programme put two parts of Trump's speech together so he appeared to explicitly encourage the Capitol Hill riots of January 2021. The Chairman of the BBC Chair Samir Shah has apologised for an "error of judgement". Nicky Campbell asked 5 Live listeners if they have trust in the BBC?
