‘People come to us homeless aged 11’

BBC Children in Need Stories

Available for over a year

Wyre Forest & South Worcestershire Night Stop keeps young people out of prison, off the streets and alive. The charity says it's easier than ever for people as young as 11 to become homeless, from families in crisis to unemployment, mental health or financial difficulties. They challenge and aim to prevent youth homelessness. Judith Ford, the Chief Operating Officer and Lisa, the Service Team Delivery Lead, tell Tammy Gooding what happens when someone knocks on their door, and the support volunteers provide across the area housing vulnerable young people. The charity is supported by BBC Children in Need.
