Dame Laura Kenny

Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

The Olympics most decorated female cyclist Dame Laura Kenny has been speaking up about the damaging effect of the stigma which can surround certain health issues. She is promoting the ‘Look Beyond the Bias’ campaign which is encouraging people to open up about their medical issues after a new survey from Chiesi showed 70% of people have experienced stigma, judgement or blame based on their health condition, with over half avoiding medical help as a result. Kenny discusses the effects of an ectopic pregnancy and the significance of being open and communicative through such a challenging and difficult time.
