Rachel Reeves: Reform UK's 'policies are racist'

Today

Available for over a year

Rachel Reeves backs the PM in calling Reform UK's policy of scrapping indefinite leave to remain as "racist" and says the Labour Party will "take them on". Speaking to Nick Robinson at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool, the chancellor says: "I think you've got to call out policies when they're wrong. "There's one thing to say that people here illegally should be sent home. Absolutely they should. "It is quite another thing to say the person who is sitting next to you at work today, who was born abroad, should be deported."
