A Leicestershire farmer says a move to turn a farming field into a burial ground has proved popular with local people. Castle View Farm, in Bottesford created a natural burial ground on land to the east of Normanton Lane, providing a peaceful environment for remembrance at a site filled with wildflowers and views of the countryside. It provides a sustainable alternative to conventional burial without the formality and memorials of traditional cemeteries. Claire Goodson from Castle View Farm in Bottesford explained to BBC Leicester's Ady Dayman that creating the Vale of Belvoir Natural Burial Ground was a win-win for her and the community.
