Where are London's most 'charismatic' trees?

London Uncovered

Available for over a year

There's Burnt Oak, Gospel Oak, Honor Oak, Oakwood and Royal Oak; Norwood, Wood Green, St John's Wood and Collier's Wood. Add Nine Elms - and countless other examples - and you're left with the indisputable conclusion that London is well and truly a city of trees. In fact, according to one UN definition, the capital is literally a forest, with 24% of it's total area covered by trees. So where are London's tallest, most historic, most beautiful, most beloved...and most 'charismatic'? BBC Radio London's aptly named Robert Elms, has been speaking to tree enthusiast - the even more aptly named - Paul Wood to find out. (Image credit: Getty Images)
