'Everybody should be able to play football'

Available for over a year

Leicestershire and Rutland is 'leading the way' when it comes to inclusivity in football. That's according to disability football ambassador Shaun Culpin whose own club Coalville Town has been setting an example when it comes to SEND sport for children. Shaun set up pan-disability football in Coalville in 2021. Pan-disability football is for players with a range of of impairments, including physical and learning disabilities and those undergoing assessments or with a diagnosis. The Coalville programme has gone from from strength to strength, and now there are over 160 children with additional needs playing across grassroots teams in our region. BBC Leicester reporter Ellis Maddison went along to meet some of the families who are involved.
