Essex church break-in causes £15k damage

An Essex church which dates to the early 14th century has been vandalised for the second time in a month, causing £15,000 worth of damage. Since the break-in on Sunday at St Margaret’s in Bowers Gifford, the local community has raised more than five thousand for repairs, in just 24 hours.
