Online misinformation and disinformation have been features of major elections for some time, and now in 2024 there’s a new tool at the disposal of conspiracy theorists, trolls, and bad actors: artificial intelligence. But what kind of content is being posted on social media to try to influence how Americans vote in November's presidential election? And how can you spot if something is fake?
