Future-proofing Cambridgeshire’s ancient woodlands
Available for over a year
A project in Cambridgeshire has not only re-discovered previously unknown ancient woodland, but is also working to protect them against the threat of climate change. Woodlands that have existed continuously since the year 1600 can be designated as ‘ancient’. Alex Dunlop visited Waresley Wood between Gamlingay and Great Gransden to find out more.
