'They'd got the attitude, ideas and creativity'

Available for over a year

Oasis played Stoke in the early 90s - at The Wheatsheaf, which is now a Wetherspoons pub. Booked at first as a 'sandwich act' between headliners and local bands, they supported names such as The Bluetones and Del Amitri. BBC Radio Stoke's Lee Blakeman caught up with Anne Riddle, former owner of the establishment. She made the decision to book Oasis not once, not twice, but three times.
