"I've got so much more to give"

Phillip Stoneman

Available for over a year

Nunnery Wood high jumper Joel Clarke-Khan reflects on missing out qualifying for the Paris Olympics. The Worcester athlete describes what went through his head at that time, but also how hearing his partner's name on the stadium tannoy, and seeing her win her own event, helped pick him back up. 48 hours after those complicated emotions of the UK Athletics Championships, he says how he takes stock with his and his partner's families, in Worcester and Cornwall, as well as walking his dogs in the countryside! 24-year-old Joel has the rest of the season ahead of him, with the focus turning to Los Angeles 2028, when he says he'll be at his peak physical condition to go for gold once again.
