What are political parties saying about Brexit?

Election 2024

Available for over a year

It’s eight years since the UK voted to leave the European Union. At the last general election in 2019, the UK was still officially in the EU, and one message dominated the election campaign. “Get Brexit Done”, Boris Johnson told voters. And they backed him to do that. But this is a very different election. Europe is not a central issue. The BBC’s analysis editor, Ros Atkins, looks at how different parties in Britain are approaching the UK’s relationship with the EU this time around.
