When you think of an open mic session comedy clubs and pubs are probably two elements that spring to mind. The Word - National Centre for the Written Word - is in the heart of South Shields and while they celebrate the written word in all its forms, they also host many exhibitions and workshops with their Sunday Sessions. Jen Stevens is an incredible North East singer, musician and Musical Director. Gilly Hope caught up with them when she popped along to the find out what it's all about.
